While walking the Binghamton Riverwalk this afternoon I spotted one of the new nestbox/houses had been propped up against a tree. This had originally been found torn out and thrown down on the bank. Another passing walker saw it and propped it up against the tree. The birds (Tree Swallows) that had been using it were still around it. I hope no eggs or young were lost.
I also saw where flowers had had the flower heads plucked or cut off.
Nestbox/house vandalized

Sad. You know I see hoodlums and suspicious vehicles near my residence. I've got surveillance cameras and personal "self defense" tools. About your house, you could get a covert camera, heck, police should be using them around town to catch crckheads
