Just as I was starting to trim the grass along the front, I spotted this garter snake sunning itself on top of the bushes. I've seen 2 or 3 now in the evergreen in the same spot each sunny day.

Also if you want to keep him, I have a name you can call him. Mr Slithers ;) Just watch out, make sure they don't go in the road. I've seen a couple in the road before :/ I caught one in the road and put him in the woods.

Nice pic. ProRacePhoto if you don't like them, I'd be happy to visit you and take them. Garter's are the best. I have rodents they can have for dinner too. I like Shrews too, so if you don't like them, I'll catch / take them too.
