Hail core from severe storm

Severe Thunderstorm and Hailcore

This picture was taken at around 6:40pm Friday on 17W. This storm was severe warned at the time. The updraft to the storm can be clearly seen and if you look closely you can see "striations" in the cloud mass - this shows the rotation within the thunderstorm.

I remember that storm well. It was early morning I think - around 9am or so and the storm was indeed tornado warned. I don't remember there being any damage from that particular storm, do you? That was a crazy morning!

Almost looks like a Tornado. Last year, June 6th there was a Tornado that hit North Side of Binghamton. It went from Vestal (ross corners) to Bing -Prospect Street and it was Rain wrapped so it was hard to see until last minute.
