Our Great Blue Heron nestlings are growing quickly and will soon be fledglings. The young will soon loose their rumpled appearance and begin to grow feathers, but they will continue to squawk with wide open beaks to beg their parents for food and to flap their wings to strengthen them in preparation for their first flight.
