walking down the driveway and found a baby chicadee that couldn't fly maybe 2ft. I was able to pick him up, and was comfortable relying on my finger to hold him. My children loved him, but eventually we let him go back in a tree where his mother came to take him back to the nest. :)

Awe, that's nice. Thanx for sharing him. They are kind, helpful, and playful birds. I remember one used to play tag with me and then perch on my head. I think gold finches and purple finches are making it more difficult for them to thrive :/
