When my wife and I walk around the Norwich area we too often come across litter someone has been too lazy to take home for disposal. It seems that just tossing it out the car window is the thing to do.
When we lived in Alaska, we were surrounded by roadside litter. As we drove the length of the Alaska Highway on our way back to New York State, we were suprised to find that along the entire length of the highway inside Canada there was not a sign of roadside litter! It was perfectly clean! Back in New York, the litter is almost as bad as in Alaska. Why?
By the way, my online name, "musherd" is pronounced "musher" "d". In Alaska we had a sled dog team, so I was a dog musher and my name starts with "D".
