While taking photos today, I noticed I wasn't alone. A bird near by was running about looking for its dinner in the same garden. I did a double take, being a bird lover... I didn't recognize this bird. Then it turned and I saw the "Red breast" and realized it was a Robin. Not all white like an Albino, just a white hood. I had to laugh when I though how it looked somewhat like a Bald Eagle. Nice try Robin!
A Mighty small Bald Eagle?

I have found out with the help of "Project Feeder watch" and "For the love of birds", that this Robin has what is referred to as Leucisim. A mutation of Melanin in patches. Not an illness. Thought the YouNews bird lovers would like having this info?

You do get very interesting and beautiful pictures! Have never seen that coloring in a robin, ever before!
