Boy Scout Troop 225 of Vestal chose to commmemorate the 150th Anniversary of the start of the Civil War by hiking the Gettysburg Battlefield. They spent 3 days visiting the many monuments honoring the sacrifices of Union and Confederate soldiers, toured the Museum and Visitor's Center, and lunched atop Little Round Top. The 29 Scouts who attended earned the Historic Gettysburg Trails patch.
