While watching the fishermen,and women (kids, too), I noticed this crow-sized fellow walking the river bank. I didn't recognize it and had to use the 'net to identify him, a Green Heron. This is a new species to this stretch of the Chenango River, I think. I hadn't seen one before, anyway.Couldn't get very close so these are the best I could get.
