As my wife and I drove up South Broad Street in Norwich, I noticed what seemed to be plants growing out of the top of the Ward School No. 4 chimney. I told myself that what I saw had to be the top of a tree behind the building; but as we passed by, I could see that the plants actually were growing from the top of the chimney.
