The biggest state park in the US is right here in New York State. The Adirondacks comprise six million acres land with pristine water in the form of brooks, streams, ponds, and lakes situated in old-growth forests. We had a great time just relaxing in some comfortable Adirondack chairs and taking pictures of the wildlife and beautiful vistas throughout the park.

We are getting less precipitation than the towns and villages to our east. Most weeks, we receive just a few minutes of light showers. Our grass is dormant and I have to water my rhododendrons and newly planted shrubs and trees every few days.
