Went out tonite to see what the River behind the Bnghamton Plaza was doing. It was doing plenty. It has already risen better than 15 feet from what it was last Saturday, not that far from the '06 levels. The boat launch area with its trees is under at least 4-6 feet of water Large trees and logs are floating down the river. In the last pic posted you can see some refugees, ducks and geese, some swimming in the murky water, others feeding along the floodline. My usual stomping grounds are under at least 15 feet of water. :(
