Though the flooding in Ithaca from Tropical Storm Lee on September 7 & 8, 2011 wasn't as bad as in Binghamton and other areas, Ithaca's famous gorges roared with gushing, muddy water. See the torrents emerging from five of Ithaca's gorges, including Buttermilk Falls, Enfield Glen in Robert H. Treman State Park, Sixmile Cree, Cascadilla Gorge, and Ithaca Falls.
