The town of Maine Bailey Hollow Dam over ran its banks and created devastation to the Bailey Hollow Roadway and the entire intersection of Kay Road. The water howled over the road at night and these pictures were taken about 8:00 am after the worst of it was over. The sluice pipe at the intersection of Kay Road tore loose when it became clogged with a boulder that was located at
the top of the resevoir near the gate. The Bailey Hollow bridge sluice went sailing down stream around 1 in the afternoon on Wednesday and the bridge itself totally collapsed around 6 pm. No way out on this end of the road and 10 foot dropoffs on the sides.
