There is still a very long way to go to make Owego and many other municipalities in this area whole again. It is amazing to see that many people managed to hang onto their sense of humor through all of this. I noticed that they have set up a collection and distribution center in the old Dollar Store in the old JJ Newberry Store at the corner of Lake and Main streets. I think one of Owego's churches is doing this..
