Even nearly 2 weeks after the flood, you can see signs that people aren't ready to give up. Signs of work being done. Before the rains helped to wash away the dry mud, the traffic driving through the town of Owego, caused quite a problem with dust. Normally you might think what harm can a little dust do? But these residents are breathing in that dust all day, it's riverwater mud dust, then the mold they are breathing on top of that, in cleaning their homes. So if you're driving into, out of or around a flooded community, even if you're in a hurry or if you see no signs asking... Please drive slowly and don't stir up the dust.
