More than 2 weeks after the flood of 2011 the Owego Riverwalk is still unusable. I am certain this is because there are so many more important things for the village to be concerned with. I was surprised today over how much progress has been made on getting the businesses here opened. I am also certain that some will never open again. At least one store had a sign stating this.
