Today after more than two weeks from flooding, the Mello-Dear hall was once again flooded. This time it was the essence of what a good neighbor is that flooded into the hall. Good neighbor Lonnie and son began removing items with Fred Ford's grandson, in the early morning. In the afternoon along came Laura Spencer from the River Row Book store on Front street in Owego, with her band of phenomenal helpers; Eric Yetter, Sarah Reid and Joe Hamill. They dug in with both hands and feet, and worked non stop for at least three hours. There are no words enough to thank you.
Mighty neighborly of you!
