RED TAPE HINDERS HELP TO FLOOD VICTIMS

FEMA is attempting to help the flood victims in Athens, PA; however, the local government officials will not help in expediting permits to aid these victims. We are told that these permits will take up to 30 days to be approved before work can begin. This is another 30 days that these people will be without a place to sleep. FEMA won't be at fault this time, the local officials will be. They obviously have a home left. It is a shame that these officials are unwilling to expedite the process to come to the aid of the unfortunate victims of the flooding.
