I went out last night to walk the dog and immediately noticed the Northern Lights glowing over Unadilla. I thought it was a little early in the year to see them but apparently not. I grabbed my camera and tripod and went back out. Unfortunately they were as bright as before. I was able to get 6 shots including the green tinted one up the valley. You couldn't see most of it with the naked eye, but it came out awesome through the camera. Shot with a Canon Rebel digital camer using a 18-55mm lense wide open. apporaximate shutter time 6 to 10 seconds.
