It seems that the "Occupy ****" movement has come to Owego, albeit in a small way.

Also work continues on the Cellar Restaurant Riverwalk entrance. It was learned today that the restaurant plans to have small tables on the deck and a circular staircase leading to and from the Riverwalk. Hopefully other businesses on the Riverwalk will follow suit and make it a real tourist attraction. I have seen other US cities that have taken advantage of their rivers to attract tourists successfully. I see no reason why this can't be successful for Owego.

I've always seen that staircase and wondered what it was about. That's a great idea. It would be a draw to the area if other shops followed suit.
