I saw one in October, also in Bainbridge...near Newton Town Rd. That was the second one I had seen in 38 years. The first was was in Mt Upton, just off of Rt 8 on a dirt road. We told people about it and described it and no one knew what it was.

who cares if they baited it or not?!?! the deer population is insane around here and we now have actual images of a bobcat in this area.

Apparently he found the deer in the woods. From the looks of it a hunter had lost track of it and thats where it died. The cam was place near the deer to see what would be recorded.

I was wondering the same thing. You have a dead doe perfectly positioned in front of your trail camera (bait) and it has been there for atleast two days judging from the picture. I hope you aren't dropping deer and using them as predator bait....

Mountain lion...c'mon...Google Bobcat images before you post. To the poster, thank you it is a beautiful animal and from what I understand they are very rarely seen/photographed. Where in Bainbridge was it? We live in Coventry

Who cares!!!!! There are a million deer around here anyway. I think it is awesome that someone got an picture of a bobcat. I have live around here for years and haven't seen one. Pretty cool beacuse the mascot is a Bobcat as well.

I understand its bow season having being an archer and long time hunter. But.... how did these pictures go down ? Was the deer found in the woods dead then placed trail cam ? Was the deer Roadkill then placed in woods with camera for Baiting?

It is bow season. Nothing wrong with having a dead deer this time of year.

Just wondering how you got the deer right in front of your gamecam? If it were a roadkilled deer, then you're off the hook!
