Please Urge Your legislator to not make any additional reductions to transportation services in the 2012 Broome County Budget

Facebook page protests recent cuts

"We recognize that Broome county, like every other county in the state and nation is trying to survive very hard economic realities and the lack of funds to pay for all community services. Public transportation is a critical service that impacts the entire community. People with disabilities, seniors who no longer drive, students and people working for minimum wages very often must rely on the transit system in order to care for themselves and their families. Buses are not a service of Convenience; they are a service of Necessity. The Transit system is a circulatory system to the community. Please Urge Your legislator to not make any additional reductions to transportation services in the 2012 Broome County Budget".... Support Public Transportation Letter.
