Thought it might make an interesting contrast, so I looked up a picture from last Jan and compared it with one taken today.
Wow! what a difference a year makes. Last year being one of the coldest in my memory and this first pic is the one to prove it. The river stayed like that for most of the month of Feb.as well.
This year? Well there was a LITTLE ice last week..........
