After hearing about one of our Action News stories, a local leader in the agriculture field helps some Endicott students complete a project on renewable energy.
Chenango County Farm Bureau president Bradd Vickers sent these pictures along to our Matt Markham.
Bradd and his wife Rainy visited sixth graders at All Saints in Endicott to help them in their Disney Plant Challenge project.
The students are demonstrating the damage to the environment done by pouring waste vegetable oil down the drain.
Vickers explained how the oil and grease can be turned in to energy and how it can reduce our dependency on foreign oil.
