Sometimes things show up in the least likely places, or when you least expect them. I was prepared today, when just off Hooper Rd In Endwell, I saw the white belly soaking up the sun from the top of a tree. This is a Coopers hawk. They are roughly the size of a pigeon. Good day for everyone to soak up that awesome sun!

I almost got a photo of a Coopers Hawk a few weeks ago...grabbed my camera... then realized that I didn't have my memory card. I was not happy! I had visions of a beautiful shot like yours, but it wasn't meant to be. I LOVE the colors!!
