Friday, January 18th 2008 around 8:30am: A pickup owned by New Holland of Binghamton crashed into the rear of a semi while both vehicles were headed south on Interstate 81 just beyond Whitney Point. At the time authorities said that they believed sun glare was the primary reason for the crash although it was still under investigation.
