This robin and some friends were out in the snow looking for the apples that they found last week when they arrived at our house. They didn't seem too thrilled to find their meals hidden under a couple of inches of cold snow today!

While I was on a walk today I was sure I heard robins but couldnt believe they would be back this early. On Friday I saw a flock of geese flying north. Could it be a very early spring ?

I think so! I took pictures of robins in the same spot on Monday and Tuesday of last week. Today, my daughter and I heard a red-winged blackbird, but never got the chance to see him. I believe that they are telling us something!
