In a ceremony held on February 19 at the High Street Methodist Church in Binghamton, John Michael Diehl received the Wood Badge Award.
The Wood Badge is the most advanced training available
for Scout Leaders who are involved in the programs of the Boy Scouts of America. The course was developed by Boy Scout founder, Lord Baden-Powell as a week long, hands-on event centered around outdoor skills, team work, leadership, and scouting spirit.
The award was presented by Michael Carporlingua, Scoutmaster Gilwell Troop 1, Woodbadge 2010 NE VII-18.
