PARK CITY, UTAH - 36 members of Binghamton's Triple Cities Ski Club (TCSC) trekked to Park City, Utah for their annual western ski trip, March 3 - 10. Although many western resorts have been "snow starved" this season, the timing was just right for this trip. TCSC members were treated to a fresh coating of new snow on these western ski slopes.
TCSC chooses a different location each year. On this trip, TCSC members visited the Canyons, Park City, Deer Valley and Snowbasin resorts. All in Utah.
Skiing 5 or 6 days in a row in the high altitude of the Rocky Mountains takes a lot of preparation skiing at our local resorts. TCSC members spend a lot of time skiing in Central New York, Pennsylvania, the Catskills and Vermont to hone their skiing skills and get conditioned to be able to fully enjoy this trip.
The group will return to Binghamton on Saturday, with a lot of great memories of this fun trip.
