On Sunday March 4 2012 the Triple Cities Hiking Club (TCHC) walked through Chenango Valley State Park. Many of the hikers were surprised to see Chenango lake nearly completely drained. A stream of water was all that was seen in a field of Mud. Inquiry by our Hiking Club president revealed that the lake has been intentionally drained in an effort to make improvements to support the Golf Course and the area surronding the lake.
