Native to Eurasia and North Africa, the European Starling was introduced into our country. I enjoy it's pretty iridescent patterning when it visits my suet feeders.

I LOVE their colors. Similar to pigeons, most people see them as pests, but I can appreciate those colors. And those Europeans love to aerate your lawn while pecking for grubs! We don't need the grubs anyway do we?
