Carnivorous Pitcher Plants

Beaver Lake Nature Center has a wonderful bog area where pitcher plants grow. Pitcher plants are carnivorous plants able to use their tube-shaped leaves to trap and digest insects. I love the family of various carnivorous plants and was thrilled to see my first wild pitcher plants!
