I was amused recently, walking through an alley way, onto Lake Street in Owego. Looking up at one point you can see the letters in the old 'J.J. Newberry' Sign, as if they are shouting 'NEW'. Owego certainly is coming around after the flooding. You can see vines breaking through where the mud covered stones were on the flooded river bank. Even popping up from the leaf covered river bank, once covered in mud, are spring flowers. Looking better than before this spring. This springs Owego is 'New-er' this year.
