When traveling from Endicott to Vestal today, I timed my trip right in the middle of the tantrum in the sky this afternoon. This time I didn't mind it because the sky was filled with conflict. One area sun was shinning and blue skies, another had menacing grey clouds and seemed later in the day than it was. Looking toward the west toward Endicott and beyond, there were places in the clouds where they opened enough for the sun to shine through. There was what appeared to a flurry in there somewhere also... Or was that 'graupel'?
