I've been waiting this spring, to see what the trees along the river would look like. On the trees, you can still see the water lines and 'Susque-dust' indicating the height of the flood water. The river banks are scored with lines where the level of the water slowly fell. Through all that debris, the leaves are budding and coming back. I'm trying to imagine just how much debris will be visible once the trees and bushes are all leafed out. The occasional log hung up in the tree, like the one on the South/Vestal end of the Vestal bridge, might be hard to hide. Just make sure when you're on those river walks or fishing, that you look overhead!
