This emerald swallowtail has been pretty beat-up from the looks of it's wings. Some of the wings were smaller than they normally are or should be. This may be because it could be at the end of it's life cycle. This and several thousand more butterflies are at the Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory in South Deerfield, MA where we visited recently. Great place to visit if you get a chance.
