My mother has been my hero and role model and I have to thank her for who I am today. She not only raised me to be an independent successful woman, but she has taught me what real strength and love is. At 12 years old my mother suffered a brain aneurism that partially paralyzed her left side. This never stopped my mom from working and raising a family while many told her that she would not be able to. In her adulthood she had to bury her sister, mother, and father before the age of 35. And the ultimate test came when, at 42, my mother lost her husband, my father, to a terrible cancer. This left my mother with two young girls to raise on her own. She not only raised us, but she raised us with the best home environment any child could have. She has always encouraged me to follow my dreams, supports me completely, and is always there for me. She taught me to NEVER give up and always follow my dreams...... And to honor my mother, that is just what I am doing. I can never thank my mother enough......
my mom.... my hero.... my best friend
