I wanted to share this special location with other viewers in our area who love birds and nature. There is more to Sapsucker Woods than just the Heron webcam as if that were not enough! It's a beautiful facility in a 230-acre sanctuary with ponds, ferny swamps, and abundant wildlife. There are more than four miles of trails and boardwalks. In the Visitors' Center there are birding scopes and views of the water where ducks, geese, and the nesting herons may be seen. A large monitor showing the live-streaming pictures of the resident nesting herons is located there.
