Greenwood park in the town of Maine, is full of photo opportunities for the nature lover. The "lessons" that can be taught abound. This frog squirmed first, to get away, then it seemed to enjoy the warmth of my daughter's hand and stayed in her open palm for it's photo session. The sweet Canadian Goose family looked like kids on a field trip. Mom in front, 6 babies swimming by twos, and Dad pulling up the rear, in the event that there were any stragglers. It seemed everywhere we saw the yellow dandelions, we saw multiple black and orange butterflies. The most exciting event was seeing, but not able to photograph, one of the Bald Eagles who live there, literally dive at high speed, into the water, and come up with a fish in it's talons. This day was enough to make me want to return for more.
