The New York Collegiate Rowing Association and the Whitney Point Rotary hosted the 21st annual regatta championships at the Whitney Point Lake on Saturday, May 5th and Sunday, May 6th with over 15 races on each day. Over 30 colleges and universities participated in the events. The regatta has been held at the Whitney Point Lake for ten years. The WP Rotary President, Jim Sprague, inspects the sculls prior to them being entered into the water.
