The month of May brings us the spectacular blooms of the Northern Lights series of Azaleas that may be seen from across the yard. They come in many lovely colors. Seemingly fragile, they are actually very hardy and reliable shrubs for our area. An added bonus is that hummingbirds are attracted to them so I get to double my pleasure when they are in bloom.
