Our yard has numerous issues that we need help with. The yard stays wet for days after a rain because of poor drainage. As you can see in the photo, toward the left, we've installed french drains to tie into a pipe that runs through all the backyards on our side of the street, but the yard is still mushy. The yard is also covered in creeping charlie, which hasn't respond to treatment, as well as little holes from squirrels and other critters. We have moss and mushrooms growing along the back of the yard that we've tried treating with lime, but it hasn't had much affect. We need help with recommendations on what plants will grow in our shady yard as well as what we can do to make the grass healthier.
