We live in Chenango Bridge along a small waterway. There is alot of turtle life that we enjoy during spring/summer and sometimes we help out. With the snapping turtles we use an industrial snow shovel to return them to their water and are very cautious in the process. The kids never do it alone and we never get closer than 2 feet. Zoom lense cameras come in handy for the photos and these are the best yet!
