When I first saw this kite I thought it was someone in a hang glider heading for the river. I couldn't see the operator and ran down the riverbank to see if anyone was hurt. What I saw was this gentleman with this gorgeous kite flying it on the bank of the Chenango River as the wind blew upstream along the channel. Watching him, I took a number of pictures as he flew the kite in the capricious wind.
