Walked the shores of the pond at Otsiningo Park Yesterday and shot these as I watched the Dragonflies cavorting around the water.
Several different species were observed, including 1 or 2 not seen here before. Take a walk for yourselves and see these amazing creations.

Yep, knew that. That is how I get many of the shots. I watch for patrol zones and patterns. It is a bit easier at the pond as it is a more restricted area than where I often shoot, on the Chenango River.

Stunning captures. Did you know they were territorial? If you want to capture a shot and they fly away, hang tight, they will come back.
