The eagles of the genegantslet had quite a scare in the spring when the home in front of their nest was lost to a fire, putting the woods in danger of burning. Nature has a way of continuing on, which is shown with the eaglet sitting on a pile of dirt where the house was recently demolished. This is the third year that the pair of eagles near the genegantslet golf course have had young.
