Monarch? Not!

Not a monarch butterfly

I took these photos at Alexander Park in Newark Valley. Although it looks like a Monarch Butterfly it is not! It is a Viceroy Butterfly-smaller than a Monarch and with some slightly different markings and the body is less hairy.

Hey, We seen some in Our flower garden the last fw days , I thought they were Monarcs, and thought it was kinda Early for them ??? Thanks for the Info, ...Absolutlly Wonderfull photograph !!!
