This beautiful Owego oak tree over 80 feet tall, on our property, has been photographed many years for it's beautiful fall foliage. Yesterday's storm forcefully 'bent' her over toward our house. There was no visible 'break" in the tree last night, although you could tell it was going down sooner or later. This morning "I-lean Oak" could hold it no more. She is now "I-lean-dover". Right over the yard, over the hedges, over the deck and onto the roof top. We are very lucky, it doesn't appear to have caused damage other than to the tree. Love how it's changed the view from inside. Very thankful. We know how so many others have suffered damage from the storm.
Hold that position... hold it, hold it
