After all the bad weather lately, it was uplifting to see the huge flock of common grackles, red-winged blackbirds, cowbirds and a few European starlings feeding in my back yard this morning. Maybe these pictures will make you feel better too. I don't think the squirrel knows what to think of all this competition!
